Fibre overtakes cable as the primary fixed broadband technology in OECD countries

High-speed fibre internet has overtaken cable for the first time to become the primary fixed broadband technology across the OECD’s 38 member countries with 34.9% of fixed broadband subscriptions, surpassing cable (32.4%) and DSL (down to 27%) according to the latest data.
